GPNS Certified

On May, 22, 2013 Blueport Wireless becomes the first vendor to be certified in the 2013 Marriott Global Property Network Standard (GPNS Certified). Blueport has successfully completed all requirements set forth in the 2013 Marriott GPNS Certified initiative and joins a small group of the Hospitality Technology Elite by earning this certificate. In January, Blueport demonstrated its advanced networking capabilities in Marriott’s lab environment and again at the recently renovated 6 story Fairfield Inn located in Revere Massachusetts completing its Pilot, the final stage of this intensive certification process. Blueport is one of only two vendors worldwide to complete the lab and Pilot phases with no deficiencies noted from Marriott’s rigorous network standard. Blueport supports their networks thru multiple Network Operations Centers (NOCs) located in geographically diverse locations to ensure 100% uptime. Our staff is trained to proactively monitor, diagnose, and correct network issues.

“We have invested a lot of money renovating this building to enhance our guest’s experience. The final phase was to upgrade our guest network. The migration process to the new Marriott GPNS Certified standard was effortless on our part, our guests and staff were supported throughout this migration and we feel the process could not have gone better, on time and on budget.” said Beth Scherer, Sr. VP of Jiten Hotel Management (JHM). JHM is a premier hotel management company, JHM has been providing hotel management services in Georgia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Rhode Island locations for over 15 years.
