Network Sales Engineer

Position Description
We are seeking a Network Sales Engineer with a deep understanding of IT and network infrastructures. This individual will be the technical liaison between customers, business partners and sales team to ensure all parties are on the same page. A steadfast “get the job done” attitude and passion for customer service is a requirement. Hours will vary and commuting throughout the U.S. to visit clients is required. Individuals who apply for this position must be driven to succeed and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Our ideal candidate is self-motivating and thrives in a team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- TCP/IP networking
- Wireless technologies
- VLAN, QoS, routing
- Switching protocols (LACP, Port Security, etc.)
- Wiring fundamentals
- RADIUS fundamentals
- Microsoft Windows support/troubleshooting
- SMTP/POP fundamentals
- Network monitoring and alerts
- Network capacity planning
Qualifications and Skills
- Technology related degree or certificate
- Minimum of 8 years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing and troubleshooting complex networks
- Minimum of 3 years of pre-sales engineering and/or consulting experience
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
